Cotton
Flat drip works well for cotton rows, and Kisan Gold 2000 m rolls reduce joints in large fields. Cotton needs many sprays, so a 12x12 battery pump pays back quickly.

Farming in Akola
Irrigation and spraying products for Akola farmers
Akola, home of Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, is a cotton and soybean district on black soil, with gram in rabi.
Because groundwater in the Purna belt is saline, Akola farmers rely on rain and dam water, and for most of the year their main need is a good sprayer.
We supply every taluka of Akola: Akola, Akot, Telhara, Balapur, Patur, Barshitakli and Murtijapur.
All our products are made at Malegaon MIDC, Sinnar, so farmers and dealers in Akola buy at factory price, with advice in Marathi, Hindi or English.

Crop-wise advice
Main crops in Akola and what to use
Cotton, Soybean, Tur (pigeon pea) and Gram (chana): what we suggest for each.
Soybean
Soybean is mostly a kharif crop, so spraying matters most: a 12x8 or 12x12 battery pump. Rain pipe helps with protective irrigation in a dry spell.
Tur (pigeon pea)
Tur needs timely pest sprays at flowering; a 12x12 battery pump covers the field faster. Drip or rain pipe gives a life-saving watering in dry years.
Gram (chana)
Rabi gram responds well to one or two light waterings with rain pipe, and needs sprays for pod borer.
