Cotton
Flat drip works well for cotton rows, and Kisan Gold 2000 m rolls reduce joints in large fields. Cotton needs many sprays, so a 12x12 battery pump pays back quickly.

Crop-wise advice
Main crops in Telangana and what to use
Cotton, Paddy (rice), Chilli, Turmeric and Maize: what we suggest for each.
Paddy (rice)
Paddy is flood-irrigated, so here the need is spraying: a 12x12 or 12x18 battery pump covers wet fields without a fuel engine.
Chilli
Chilli on mulching paper with flat drip (20-30 cm spacing) keeps the root zone moist without waterlogging.
Turmeric
Turmeric on raised beds with inline drip (20-30 cm spacing) uses far less water than flood irrigation over its long season.
Maize
Flat drip or rain pipe for maize, and a battery pump for fall armyworm sprays.
