Crop-wise advice
Main crops in Palghar and what to use
Chikoo (sapota), Paddy (rice), Vegetables and Coconut: what we suggest for each.
Paddy (rice)
Paddy is flood-irrigated, so here the need is spraying: a 12x12 or 12x18 battery pump covers wet fields without a fuel engine.
Vegetables
Flat drip with 20-30 cm spacing under mulching paper saves water and cuts weeding. A 12x12 battery pump covers regular spraying.
Coconut
Online drip with drippers around each palm, fed by a sub line pipe across the garden.
